I am feeling like celebrating small victories today! Sometimes the total goal seem SO far away, but I think that celebrating the little stuff makes it so much easier. Just as an FYI, I am halfway through the first week of phase II.
So here are my small victories today
- I can tell I have more energy because I am not needing as much sleep. I am waking up raring to go instead of dragging myself out of bed.
- I am down 8.8lbs, that is 12% of the way to my MAJOR May 2011 goal. Not bad in two weeks!
- With all the veggies, and yogurt, my often-tempermental stomach is happy.
- I am wearing pants at work today that would not zip when I started SBD.
- I am not feeling beholden to food anymore, and finally can tell when I am actually hungry and when I only think I am and will just end up grazing like a cow.
