If these diet pills really worked, then there would be no obesity epidemic, now would there?
BTW you'll be seeing (if you haven't already) a lot of diet pills/products coming on the market touting that they are "NOW EPHEDRA FREE!!!!" The reason for this isn't because of the FDA cracking down, or because the manufacturers are concerned for your health...it's more of a monetary consideration. The liability insurance carriers for these companies have significantly raised the premiums for companies who manufacture or market products containing ephedrine, ma huang, ephedra, whatever you want to call it. However, that does not mean that the other ingredients in these pills are any 'safer' than ephedra (or any more effective for that matter).
