I haven't found any free fruit, most are 1 point, some are 2. And veggies actually aren't free indefinately, you can eat enough of them to add up to a point. But I don't really bother measuring/counting them (except potatoes). I didn't get here by binging on carrotts.

Small fruit is one point. That is about 1/2 - 3/4 cup or 1 small apple (the size of the bagged ones, the ones you chose from are 2 or 3. You really need the materials. Can't you go to one meeting and get Week 1 and your points finder? You don't have to sign a contract or anything.

And yes, you can eat too many fruits and vegetables. No matter how you count it, you lose weight only when calories burned is less than calories eaten.

Potatoes, corn, peas, cooked onions and carrots, winter squash all have points.
