Default Question about calorie counting...

Hello,

I am new to this site but I can tell already that this place is wonderful!

I'm currently calorie counting, have been for around 3 months, and strangely I have a hard time eating my all of my daily calories.
This seems very odd to me since I have been overweight for years now- due to overeating.
I'm not entirely sure why but I feel very full on 1200 calories, almost like I am eating too much food.

Does anyone else possibly feel this way?

I feel sorta like the "other shoe" will drop soon and I'll start eating ginormous portions like I used to...

I am on an 800 calorie plan. I also have a hard time getting in my calories. I think once your head is in the game nothing can detour you. You have your mind made up. Amazing once all the pieces of the puzzle are working that food is not what we are orbiting around huh? It feels great to be in control. I'm having fun losing, I'm really nervous about how I will maintain when I get to my goal. So planning..planning..and more planning!! Best of luck!

800 calores? That seems a bit low! Are you being supervised by a MD?

OMG! I wish I had ya'lls problem. I would love to not be able to eat all my cals. I am having a hard time staying under 1500. Just last night I blew it and shot up to 3,000. I wouldnt analyze it too much; be happy you are disciplined to stay at 1200 and that your body is cooperating

I have some days where I'm at 1100 and I'm done, and others where I go up to 1500 and I'm still starving. I would say just get in the minimum of 1200 (800 does seem very very low), but if it ever happens that you're still hungry after that, bump it up a little.

Kaala, head over to the Calorie Counters forum for more advice. They are really great!

I'm on 1200/ day, too and not really losing. I feel full and most days never make it to 1200 (usually 1080-1125). I'm going on my 3rd week at 1200 and seeing what happens before I make any changes.
