Keep track of your own monthly exercise here! (SEPTEMBER)
During my cardio one day I was thinking how interesting it would be to know how many minutes I exercise in the period of a month.
So I am posting my exercise minutes daily in this threat and you are welcome to keep your data here too, so we can keep ourselves motivated.
I started it last April and I was shocked to learn that in 3 weeks I worked out over 3,000 minutes!!!!
What a motivation!!!
It has helped me to keep going, because I want to see the numbers of the minutes go up each day in this threat.
You can even break the months down and learn how many minutes you worked out each week (and use the info to analyze your weight loss in that period) or maybe after 12 months you could add all the numbers you’ve got and see how many minutes you exercised during the whole year.
You don’t really have to post every day, as long as you keep track of the minutes from previous days and post it at once. It is up to you...
* Make sure you get your minutes from your OWN last post.
You can see my threat from August here:
http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/exer...re-august.html
This is an example of how I am doing it:
Before 30
Monday (May 3) 30
Total 60
Before 60
Tuesday (May 4) 45
Total 105
Lets MOVE!!!

Ok I'm game! I have an ap on my phone where I log all my calories and exercise minutes but it'd be fun to do it here where there's more motivation and support.
1st: 42 min (3.09 mile jog)
50 min (2.8 mile walk)
Previous: 92 min
Today : 60 min (One on One w/ Jackie intervals)
Total: 152 min

@ tafadhali, I'm wayyyyyyyy slower (takes me like 50mins to jog 3 miles), so I'd LOVE to be at 42mins. Working on it though. (UPDATE: at the start of September, it took me 51:59 to jog 5km, on Sept 28, I did it in 47:58, thus shaving 4 minutes of my time!!! It's still super slow I realize that, but for me it's very exciting!!!!)

Toastedsmoke, the fact that you're running 3 miles is awesome! I'm thrilled I'm able to do 3 miles. I shouldn't focus on time but I want to enter a 5K in Dec and I don't want to embarrass myself. Of course, even if I get faster I'll probably cry or do something equally rediculous (like a fat lady doing a victory dance on the finish line) when I finish the race.

Tafadhali, TRUE! I remember struggling to jog for 5minutes so even though it's discouraging when everyone's slowest times seem faster than my fastest, I still try to keep it in perspective. Plus, trying to get faster keeps it interesting/ gives me something to work on.

Belezura, leave the vacation blip where it should be left- last week. Ok you had fun and maybe ate a little more liberally than you should have and ok possibly took a break from your usual exercise schedule, but now you're back and it's never too late to fix things. It was only a brief blip.
I doubt that in the one week you were away you've gained back all you've lost and gotten super unfit. In your posts, you seem like you were pretty hardcore with working out and you can and will be again. Re-do your gym membership ASAP if you can and until then you can do workout dvds at home or go running or some other non-gym work out. You don't have to slam yourself back into 2-hr workouts immediately. Maybe since you seem to have been used to 2-hr workouts, you can commit "only" 1hr to working out per day and I'm sure within a week you'll be back in your groove.
Take a deep breath, calm down and don't stress alll your vacation relaxation away. Make concrete plans to work out today and re-do your gym membership.
HUGS!
