Don't feel like a failure, it's hard with all that other stuff going on. I run in my kitchen at 11 at night for exercise because I have to fit it in to school, kids, house, and husband. It's not easy! You should feel like a winner for getting 30 day shred in!

I had this problem at first, too. And I can't really avoid the attention my 3 year old needs. But, on days I can't go to the Y (which has child care included, so that's perfect), my husband knows that I need 45 minutes to exercise. He takes our LO at some point in the evening so that I can get that work out in. I am FINE taking that time to myself because ultimately it will mean I have more time to spend with them throughout my life!

Let the housework go a bit- it's okay if it's not spotless, I had to teach myself the house doesn't have to be immaculate 24/7. Also ask hubby for help- 1 hour a day is not much to ask IMO.

Good luck! Try to figure out a solution that works for you - even if it's half an hour here then half an hour there. AND if the kids go to school and you are at home try to do it then. Another option is to go to bed earlier and do it in the morning.

I feel your pain. I always felt like this as a mom when I couldn't get a longer workout in. Really something is better that nothing. 30 day shred is nothing to sneeze at! It's that all or nothing mentality we need to kick out the door. You can make huge improvements in your health with healthy eating and 30 day shred. Give yourself credit for the work you do (I know, easier said than done!)!

It's very hard. I second leaving housework in favour of a workout. I am busy with a very young child (11 weeks) so I can't leave him when he needs me - but I can leave the vacuuming or laundry for just a bit! Energy, now that's another story.

P90X is a huge time commitment. I'm doing it, and I find it hard to fit it in and I don't even have kids. I'm a step-mom, but my responsibilities are quite limited since my step-son is 15 and not home much. Feel proud for how much you are accomplishing! And think how much more energy you'll have for the whole family as you get more fit!
