Unhappy Month of Bingeing : (

Well, I am back after a month of disappointment. I was doing SO well last month. I was down 15 lbs and feeling great. Then, out of nowhere I just started bingeing like crazy. I don't know what has gotten into me. It is like I have been possesed. I would just keep eatting and eatting and eatting for no reason. I wasn't hungry or upset. There wasn't anything particularly upsetting or a that anything changed. I just went nuts. I checked the scale today and I have gained 7 lbs back. I am so upset with myself. I worked so hard to get rid of that 7 lbs, and was so excited when I saw that I had the lowest weight I have had in over three years. What is wrong with me? I just dont get it. I refuse to completely give up though! Today I am going back to what I was doing. I am not going to just accept that this is the way it is. I want too much for myself to do that. So, I am back.

was it out of nowhere? were you feeling especially stressed? did your plan feel too difficult? maybe you just slipped back into old habits that have a deep grove with you? maybe elements of all those things? exploring it a little might make it easier for you to figure out how you want to approach it this time around.

PS don't beat yourself up

Woohoo! Good that you're getting back on track! I don't know if somebody else has an answer for this, I certainly never found one. I always joke I spend more time running behind the wagon than on it! But, as my ticker tells, you can get a great result in the end, as long as you don't give up after a bad spell!

Everybody screws up once in a while, don't be disappointed in yourself, if you get back on plan you'll have forgotten about it in no time!

Thanks ladies. Nothing really happened to make me start. I just did. Now it's time to get back to being healthy again!

Stay strong and do your best...I get that also, do well on making healthy choices and once am on a roll and the scale is good..about when I hit a 20 Lb mark, my mindset goes boggling and binge..its tough and understand. Take it day by day and never give up...
