Default Question...

Did anyone else have trouble with... constipation I guess... in the beginning? I know this is total TMI but I haven't gone in a couple of days and that's not normal for me. I picked up some sugar free fiber tablets, can you tell me if this goes against the diet? I haven't had a chance to get to the library and pick up the updated book yet, coming up on finals week in school so going off what I know from about 6-7 years ago.

If you'll scroll down on the South Beach page, you'll see a thread titled "Possibly TMI," where several people mention that it's a common problem at first. Ranks right up there with . . . the opposite problem. : )

Make sure you're eating your greens and your beans

Konjac root is good for this as well... its what Shirataki noodles are made of, full of fiber and little calories

Thanks guys. I was just worried if taking the supplement would throw things off. Glad to hear it's okay. I'm not much of a bean person, so don't eat them. Probably part of the problem. LOL

My "problem" just started two days ago, I started taking the benefiber but was only doing it once a day and Im going to kick it up a notch. However, I do have to admit I have slowed down on my greens just out of boredom.
