Default Jillian Michaels Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism?

I just started doing this DVD a few days ago and It is the most intense workout I have ever done. It kicks butt!

In my opinion, this is way better than the 30 Day Shred. It focuses more on cardio so more calories are being burned.

Is anyone doing this workout?
Have you gotten any results with it?

Thanks!

I didn't do it consistently enough to see if results were different/better than 30DS...because it kicked my bum!!!

I really love the 30DS, mostly because it is so effective in a short amount of time. Great for busy schedules.

Every time I've ever done the Burn Fat Boost Met video, I sweat like a total pig & am STARVING all day long. I have been running more, so maybe it would be better now, but I have to say, it is so hard for me, that I have trouble psyching myself up for it. I'd rather run my 2.5-2.75 miles outside + 15 minutes of strength training.

This winter, when the outside running isn't so good, I'll probably incorporate more of it. I cannot imagine that it won't work wonders. Jillian really knows how to get your body to burn fat & shape up!

Good luck to you! Glad you are enjoying it - I'm so impressed!!

I just got done trying that DvD for the first time. It killed me.
I plan to mix it in with my other exercise activities and hopefully see some results.

This is one of my favorites--it kicks my butt every time. I love it because the moves themselves are very simple (it doesn't have crazy choreography to learn) but very effective.

I've done it but have a weird problem - all the jumping turns make me motion sick. I have to skip them and go to a regular "jump rope" move instead for that period. It's HARD to get through though....

I love it! For some reason, I didn't find it as challenging as I thought it would be (save a few parts) but I did enjoy it. Kickboxing circuits are my new bff's. I did it for the first time yesterday. Is it weird that I sweat more with 30DS, though? Anyway, today my shoulders and hips are sore. I'm used to the shoulder sore...but the hip sore is new to me. It's a good thing though as my hips have been stubborn! (:

This one kicks my butt! It shelved for now because I can get outdoors, but I like this for the winter when I can't get outdoors. The kickboxing circuits are my faves!

YES! I just did this DVD yesterday for the first time in several weeks. I've been running, doing 30DS a couple times a week, general weight/resistance training, and pilates...and IT WAS STILL HARD!! I am so fatigued today that I could barely finish my short run AND I woke up raving hungry to boot.

I wish I had more time to incorporate this into my regular routine. It is so effective...even if it does kick my rear end & leave me looking like I just went for a swim !!

question: how do you girls combine BFBM?

do you do it every day? I want to do more Jillian but I love the schedule and the comittment of having a plan: 30 days, 10 days level 1, etc...

I personally just alternate through cardio dvds. I think I'd die if I did it everyday.

Try Exercise TV 30 day slimdown routine if you have Jill's 30DS and NMTZ also

As far as calorie burn...my HRM says I burn more on the elliptical for my normal workout than I do with the video by FAR....
