Default whoosh!

After basically staying the same weight for several weeks, I finally saw a big drop over night. I went from 204.8 to 201.4!

It is hard to believe that I'm within 2 pounds of reaching my initial goal weight (normal BMI) and so close to a number that starts with a 1.

The idea of being under 200 pounds was inconceivable before. When I started this and looked at the BMI tables, I thought there must be some mistake that I'd be totally skin and bones at the "normal" weight. Not only am I not skin and bones, I still have a belly and there is definitely fat under all of the loose skin.

Once I hit "onederland" I'll just be a few more pounds away from hitting a weight loss of 250 pounds in total. That number seems so surreal.

Default Day 1

I guess we all have to start somewhere. Today I start here. Funny how when you start a diet all the doubt comes pouring in. Even on FB when I left a silly message "Clicked my sandels together 3x saying...I Want To Be Skinny, I Want To Be Skinny, Didn't work so todays day one of operation "get skinny" (guess next time I use my ruby slippers)" deep down inside I had self doubt again too. But I really do want to lose this extra me. Want to be health, want to be able to run with my grandbabies not just watch them run. Weight is holding me back from living the life I want. So...today I start the new me. A journey to a life which was held back long enough.
