Losing the same amount weekly, regardless of amount of exercise
What's the deal? So I'm losing about 1 lb to 1.5 lbs weekly regardless of how much I exercise. My workout consists of walking on the treadmill (hey, it's all I can do right now) and some weeks I walk for 45 minutes 6x a week and other weeks I do 30 to 45 minutes 4x a week with roughly the same, steady weight loss. The pace is roughly the same, too, with varying intervals of speed walking (3.3 mph) and normal pace (2.8 mph). Any ideas on what's going on?
I mean, I've lost exactly 16.0 pounds in the last 8 wks, so I'm not complaining...it IS averaging out to 2 lbs per week. I just thought that the more I exercised, the more weight I'd lose each week. Thanks for your imput.
