I shouldn't have taken the week off of my workouts. Getting back at it is so hard. I skipped my early morning workout with my friends this morning. I haven't heard from them yet, so I think they may have skipped too, all 3 of us were travelling over the weekend and we all knew today was iffy as to who could meetup .
I didn't workout last night as I had to do yardwork and grocery shopping from being gone for 6 days. And I can't workout tonight as I'm having dinner with my brother who is in town for the week. So tomorrow I MUST start back up.
Its so easy to get lazy and roll over and go back to bed in the morning.
Which is what I did at 8am this morning. I don't exercise until 3PM though. I've wanted to get up and exercise earlier but hey, 3pm seems to be working for me lol.
That is definitely a fear for me is that I will stop - but I know that I can't. For me the one thing that I know has helped me is my continuing to work out no matter what. Hope you can find that again - huggles
I just got me "Slacker" notification from my workout buddy. Although I found out today's training was the stationary bikes at the gym, and they know how much I hate those. I'd much rather do my biking outdoors and make the most of the gym while there.
I prefer evening workouts, after work, but I have friends who meet in the mornings and that really helps with the motivation to work out. It adds a level of accountibility.
It feels good and is good for you to take a week off... BUT often difficult to get back at it BUT just DO IT! Put the shoes on, and get out there!! Have you ever EVER been sorry for working out?? I don't think so ...
