.*.*.Weekly Chat July 6-11.*.*.
Good morning ladies! I know, I know - it's Tuesday but it feels like Monday! Any of you out there taking an extra day/morning to stretch out the long weekend?
I hope everyone had a great time this weekend. I did! My boyfriend and I went to a bunch of different bbqs for graduations and 4th of July. I behaved myself, eating mostly fruit and lean meat where I could find it. I did treat myself to a little brownie square, but it's all good because I'm still 171.5 today woo
Stay cool this week ladies, it's gonna be a scorcher! They're calling for 101 in my area, and when I walked outside this morning I knew it was going to be a muggy day!

I knew I should have worked out this morning...we're supposed to get the same weather here in MD. But oh, I was sleeping so well.
Here's to the AC working at the gym later

Mary - I need to sweat, the wiifit doesn't make me sweat, that's my main problem with it. Thankfully, I do have a treadmill at home. Running away the pain is a great new motto, as long as the neighbors don't mind the really loud, blaring music. Yay for Florence & the Machine
Jenny - Helloooo
So I bought Trader Joe's Yogurt Parfait last night, figuring it would be a good breakfast. Yech. It was like the consistency of cream and tasted like crap, so yeah, none of that. Hopefully my banana will hold me over until lunch, or I'll be having a salad at 10 am...

good morning ladies, I am new to this website and Im looking for an active group. Im posting to see what is out there and where the support I can give and recieve is. Im from canada and we are having a scorcher as well. I have the wii fit as well and I do sweat when I do the yoga and the running as well. I have also been told the wii fit 2 is amazing however they do have another work out program for the wii and that is for people who would normally go to the gym it is that type of work out. Maybe look into that one its called ea sports, and you also have wii the biggest looser as well. hope this helps you.

Yeah I totally enjoyed my bad food and beer and margaritas with the family on sunday, BUT that's ok because today is the "official" first day of diet and excercise for me now that I am allowingmyself to actually excercise without really worrying that my incision is going to tear open.
I feel for all you east coast ladies.....over 100 is WAY too hot for me. Its pretty muggy here though its hard to breathe outside..blah. Thats all for now ladies...I WILL report if I actually worked out or not JUST to keep myself in check

I'm a winter baby. This is going to be ridiculous. Any temperature over 75 and I start whining.
I'm also jonesing for an iced coffee, but there's no WAY I'm walking outside for it.

Also new to this thing. Hope you don't mind my butting in. I had a quite uneventful Fourth. Took my dog for a walk and heard fireworks, though. It is indeed pretty hot- considering leaving my planned 5 mile walk till later, but I think if I leave it too long I just won't do it, lol.

It is so ridiculously hot outside!!! It is 100 degrees on the dot and even hotter with the heat index or whatever it's called. Blah!!!! But I am pretty proud of myself for getting to the gym this morning. The whole way there I was like "It's too hot for this...I should just turn around" but then I was closer to the gym than my house, so it all worked out in the end. Its supposed to be like this all week long too!

Good afternoon, ladies!
Oh this weather sucks! Not only is it high 90s, feeling like 100s, but we've had thunderstorms on and off for almost a week! 40% chance of precipitation this evening, which is when I plan on walking at the park since the temperature will be lower. Yesterday I did my first day of C25K in the rain... not fun at all.

Happy Tuesday everyone! Yeah, I was way bad this weekend... Holiday fail for sure! haha.
It is a hot one here in Oklahoma as well! If you have lived here for any length of time though, you get used to it. 100 is not abnormal at all! I think its like 98 right now (but the heat index is like 104...ugh.)
Good news, my boss is in a horrible mood today. Fan.Frickin.Tastic. Oh well though, he can get over it. I'm really looking forward to finishing the book I got "Skinny Chicks Dont Eat Salad" I have really liked it so far and I am looking forward to implementing her meal plan. (I will post more about it on the thread I started, later.)
Well, Hope you guys have a good one!
xoxo
