Default Wedding Ring NSV
I dug my wedding ring out of the bedside cabinet today. I haven't worn it for years: I've tried it on a few times on the way down and then had trouble getting the damn thing off again, but today it fits well enough to be wearable.

I was overweight when I married, not at my very highest weight but not particularly low either. When I slimmed down in 2001, I eventually lost about 14lb more than my current weight. At some point the ring kept slipping off. As I had been on a jewellery/silversmithing course, I decided to resize it myself. Of course I wasn't expecting to regain then, but I did. Maybe I could have altered it again, but I didn't particularly want to. That's why I haven't worn it for years, until today.

Now I have to figure out how to make sure it stays wearable long term. The funny thing is, I'm totally unused to wearing any rings now.
