I know it is 3FC but is there any Males out there?
I have started this with my wife we are both trying to get into shape. I am the more computer geeky of the two of us and spend more time infront of a comptuer than she does because of my job.
I was just wondering if there are any other males out there that are doing it, when I go to my MRC it seems that the few men I have seen are in good shape, pushing the 60 years mark in age, or waiting on their sig. other.
Just looking for a little input on how this worked or is working for them?
Yes, we have a number of very successful males here. They are doing great at the losing game. Look around at the various forums, they are out there, Welcome and good luck !

Hi Haibiss! I just did my food instruction class a couple of weeks ago in Lincoln, NE. There were two guys there at the class. One was probably in his 30s and one was probably 60s age range. But the reason that I even started looking at MRC was because my boss -- a 50s man -- joined MRC and is doing great!
Hi Haibiss I'm male, so far I've enjoyed this website. I started my diet last year (medifast) but now I'm switching to south beach as medifast is just too expensive. I was using the Medifast forum and it was very supportive and from what I've seen of this board it looks to be the same way. Good luck with your plan.

Joanie I am in Seward starting the Lincoln Center this week, maybe we can motivate each other.
My DH and I started MRC together and he knows nothing about this site, but has done really well at MRC. If you need any info regarding a guy's experience - go ahead and ask - I'll be glad to find out. Just for the record, he's done really well and is starting stabilization. He's lost 30 lbs since 1/15/10.
Thanks for all the updates and it is nice to see that there are other males out there. I have been on MRC for 3 weeks now and am down 15 inches and 9.5 lbs.
Hard part is going to be the vacation that we are going on in a couple of weeks. Travel and Diet are not very good buddies
