Smile Sonoma questions

I am thinking about trying the Sonoma diet, cuz I've put on a few (not reflected in my stats on the left ... I have a few quick questions: Can you drink diet soda? Is yogurt with artificial sweetners allowed? Can you have whole wheat cracker (instead of bread) from Day 1?

Thanks so much!

I am reading the book. I just picked it up at the library the other day. I do recall that you can have diet soda, up to 2 cans a day if cant absolutely give it up. As for the artificial sweetners, I think you arent suppose to have them. So, no on that one I guess.

Whole grain crackers I think are ok too.

Perhaps someone else will chime in who really knows the plan.

Diane-yes to the whole grain crackers but whole grain bread is also permitted from day 1. Yes, to the diet soda but limited to no more than 2 cans/day. Avoid artificial sweetners. I occasionally use splenda-probably no more than 2 packets a day (my personal preference), the yogurt-if you are following the book to the letter, is not allowed until Wave 2 which is after the first 10 days.
