Ugh same. I got my visitor as well today. I haven't really had the urge to binge today, but yesterday I did so it was probably PMS. Well maybe you should get out of the house or just don't do things that make you think about food. Or promise to reward yourself if you behave.

i have the same thing going on right now.

think carefully of how you will feel after. picture yourself having binged and feeling full and knowing that you have thrown the day and probably set back your weightloss for the week. then think about your last bad binge and how you felt after? is it worse then the feeling of constantly resisting a binge? either way you feel bad- but resisting the binge leaves you skinny!

i dont always follow my own advice- but this reasoning has kept me binge free for 2 weeks.

Thanks so much! I ordered a small pizza for dinner.. of course I can only have like 2 slices but I used a calorie thing to find out if it was worth it.. I think this should help me out with my pizza craving.. I'm gonna work out tonight also. Hopefully this will make me feel better! That's really good advice though! Thanks!!

Do you take a multivitamin? Best advice my doc gave me -- even if not planning pregnancy go for prenatal multivitamin version to help recoup the iron lost at TOM with menses.

Oh, man, I'm right there with you. I'm resisting a binge right this very moment. Right now I'm just doing everything I can to keep myself out of the kitchen! I'm planning on doing something relaxing that will take my full attention ... like reading a book in the bath.

Oh man... at TOM I become a bottomless pit. Nothing seems to satiate me. I distract myself. I do something that requires my full attention. Organize a part of my house, do some gardening, do some scrapbooking. Whatever.

I have also been planning my evening snack. I can have one healthful snack between 8 and 8:30. (evenings is when I tend to binge) As simple as it is, just having a plan has been SUCH a HUGE help for me.

apologies in advance for being thick.....so we lose iron during TOM? does the lack of iron prevent weight loss then???

Avezy44 - How are you feeling today?

I take extra iron during my TOM. it helps me with fatigue. and also raspberry tea, it helps calm me = no binge.

X Lexi X - Ladies lose iron during TOM: 10-80ml of blood. I don't think lack of iron prevents us from losing weight, but it may cause symptoms (fatigue & distractability) that sure doesn't help us lose!!

Sorry I am late getting back to you. I am doing much better. TOM is gone and I lost 3 pounds that week Mucchhh better. The first part of the week I was borderline pushing it snack wise but the whole time I worked extra, extra hard at the gym to avoid any backlash
