Default April Weight Loss Challenge

I thought it was time for a new thread. I'm sitting right at the precipice (yes Heidi, I'm practicing my big vocabulary, ) of breaking through my 220 barrier. This has got to be the month for me. I also have my new fitbit which helps me see how many calories I'm burning everyday. Takes some of the guess work out. I'm going to be happy with any number below 220. Who else has goals for this month?

My goal is to get into the 160's. Anywhere in the 160's and not bounce back up.

thanks for starting this Petra.

My first goal for the month is to get into the 2-teens. And then I'll have several milestones all hitting around the same time - 50 lbs lost, my second 10%, and getting below 214 which is the lowest weight that I can remember, at least since my pregnancy. I don't know if I'll hit those for April, but once I'm in the teens, that's what I'll be working towards.

My April Goal is to work out at least 3 times a week. I'm not tying it to weight this month. Just to a habit I need to make.

It doesn't haven't to be a weight related goal Wizzie. I think an exercise goal is good.

I agree that an exercise goal is great! Once I'm finally able to start exercising again, I'll need to do something like that to get myself back up to speed.

I hope everyone had a very relaxing weekend.

My April goal is going to be to exercise at least 4 times per week.
If I can continue what I started this weekend..I am hoping to be in the 170s by the end of this month...

1 day at a time...

Sheila, I think 1 lb a week is a very realistic goal. That's 4 lbs a month which is a really good weight loss.

My goal this month is exercising everyday and staying within my calories all month. NO CHEATING! I'll take whatever loss comes with that! Good luck everyone!
