Good morning! I am brand new here and just wanted to introduce myself.
I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 25 years and we have 5 children. I am a librarian and am working on a degree in accounting.
I lost 60 pounds with Weight Watchers in 2007 and am fighting right now to get 10 of those back off plus a few more. I have set a goal of our youngest son's graduation from high school in June to at least get the 10 off.
I enjoy reading, crocheting and my new love- geocaching! My husband and I just recently found our 100th cache and introduced our middle son and his girlfriend to geocaching. They are now trying to outdo us since they live in an area with lots of caches close by.
Is there an area on here for those of us with hypoglycemia? I was just diagnosed a few weeks ago and am finding it a challenge to change the way I eat so that I do not shake between meals. I would love any advice anyone has on how they cope. Diabetes runs on both sides of my family, so I want to do all I can to keep it at bay as long as I can.
