Ugh! PMS always brings with it - UNCONTROLLABLE munchies. However since about January I've been able to control them and just grin and bear it through the week. Well it's been a particular rough couple weeks and TOM is due in a week and last night I just couldn't quiet the voices any more and I gave into a mini binge. I'm trying not to beat myself up too much...after all it was a mini binge (so much smaller than the usual binge I used to have) and it was on anything too awful - just a couple handfuls of wheat thins and a handful of animal crackers (in the past I would have added a couple more handfuls of both, some peanut butter and a kit kat).
So today I picked myself up and got back on plan. The only thing that sucks today is that my breakfast was AWFUL (I love Kashi products, but just the plain Kashi Go Lean is horrific) and I forgot my afternoon snack and I have to work late tonight. I'm also tired and my toddler is getting sick. AND today is also my lowest calorie day of the week so I'm hungry anyway...boy I'm just full of gripes.
On the plus side last night I had fogotten a couple of the ingredients I needed for the night's planned meal, but managed to put together a completely calorie appropriate dinner on the fly from what was in my pantry.
Anyway, I guess my point is that even those of us who have been at this for a long time and are having great success fall off the horse sometimes. In the past that night of binging would have turned into a week into well I guess the diets over. But weight loss is not all or nothing and we pick ourselves up and get back on for the ride!
