Default Wow!

So I started my new LIFESTYLE on March 1st.

As of today, I have lost 7 lbs. I just keep thinking at least I didn't GAIN 7 lbs. I started at 261 my heaviest I have EVER been in my whole life.

I have walked EVERY day (except for yesterday) - whoa, what a day it was, I even went out to lunch at that same darn place with the basket of CHIPS LOL and I did well all day, within my calorie limit. It was the first REAL day since I started that my lifestyle change that was all wacky (the kids are on spring break) and we did a ton of errands.....you know how it is.

We have a wedding to go to out of town this weekend....I know we'll have to eat out and I know where we'll eat, so I looked up the menus of the restaurants and the nutrition value, so hopefully I won't gain this weekend and I will try and walk too.

Oh and I really didn't think this calorie counting thing and walking would REALLY work.........ha!

Thanks so much for the support!

It was eye opening to me that it worked too! LOL! Whoda' thunk? Good ol' fashioned calorie counting. It's easy and it works with EVERY holiday!

You are so in this for the long haul!

And I like how some of the CALORIES of certain foods makes them less appetizing. Who would of thought that would happen?

Way to go summerblue! Congrats on your new knowledge!!

yay food for you!!! and good old boring FREE calorie countie DOES WORK, amazing isn't it??? I thought it was kinda nutty at first too, but now I look at it as spending money. If I have $1700 dollars to spend, do i realllllllly want to blow 1/2 of it on a dessert i'll inhale in 2 seconds?? you get a lot choosier and make better decisions. But again, just like life, you'll blow the lot on a new pair of shoes one day but if you write it all down, you can see where you were 'overdrawn' and correct yourself asap

way to go girlie!!!

Great job!
Calorie counting has been amazing for me as well. I can't imagine how people lose weight any other way. I agree that is it so eye opening. I like to pull up menus and facts about foods I used to eat and it is so clear now why I was overweight! Sometimes for fun, I will try to put together the most fattening meal on a fast food menu that I can and I am just amazed that people actually eat these foods and I used to be one of them. I figured out a McDonalds meal the other day and with dessert it was 2400 calories and 104 grams of fat
