So im curious how much water do you retain around your TOM?, I am struggling with my weight even though i am doing everything i can, i did lose a bit before my TOM and got down to 219, it started yesterday and i am up to 222 again, so how much weight do you typically carry around and how long till it starts coming off?
I can, and always have, gained at least 5 lbs around the TOM. I'm not doing that lately, mainly because my high blood pressure medication has a diuretic in it, so that helps keep the weight creep off.
I'll let you know in a couple of days how bad the weight gain is. There was a time when I didn't even bother to step on the scale during that week.
I don't really pay that much attention to exactly how much I gain during TOM... Ignore the title...I'm to tired to pay much attention to exactly what I'm doing at the moment...Sorry

Reason: messed up
I can get anywhere from 2-5lbs as well!! I just ranted in the 30s thread about how stressful it is when TOM comes around. But since I started tracking my daily weigh ins since Nov. I always notice an increase 2-3lbs a wk before my period and up to 5 somethings during, then if I dont go over board with eating and keep on working out I might see an extra lb or two off after my period ends!!!
Thanks Everyone, i appreciate it.I never really paid attention before but now im becoming more and more "in tune" so im trying to realize when its water weight and when it isnt...i have behaved myself thus far so hopefully i will have a good turn out
Do you ever wear rings?
My best indication of when I'm retaining water is how tight my rings are on my fingers. If I suddenly have to YANK to get my ring off... I'm usually a bit bloated.
And like many of the other ladies, I tend to gain about 2-3 at the beginning of my TOM, then it slowly drops towards the end.
I have a woosh down right before I start, and then I gain between 5-7 lbs. My rings don't fit at all, my feet swell, and I get really constipated the first several days. It's terrible!
jealous of all you 2-5's!! i'm 5-7 once even hit 10. talk about a bummer!! when it's higher it usually takes me about a week and a half before it goes down
