Red face Newbie in need of advice and support!!!

Hello all,
I'm just here to get advice and support on my weightloss... My husband and I have been doing the grapefruit diet for about a week and if I see another grapefruit, I'll puke!! LOL.. but I have lost about 5 lbs!!! Just here for the motivation to keep me going... my husband kinda sucks at it... My goal is to lose at least 100 lbs before the end of the yr. So if anyone has any advice or just support, I would greatly appreciate it!

Well...you have made the first step..you have decided to do something about your weight. I find just reading other peoples goal and mini goal stories motivates me. They did it..and they used to be like me...so may be I can do it too

hello I would also like to lose 100lbs by the end of the year! (and Im also new) I am doing Body for Life though and have lost 10lbs in 6 weeks. Last time I did this diet I lost 16lbs in 6 weeks but this time I am doing weights and toning at the same time. So I could care less how much I weigh as long as I can fit in to a bathing suit by Dec 2! lol

Hi tna. Welcome to 3FC
Hummm, the old grapefruit diet...yum. (just kidding, I really do like grapefruit in moderation )

Take a look around, there are lots of great forums and a variety of eating plans that might appeal to you more. I reached my weight goal by counting calories and I still like grapefruit...I have one a week (or so)

Hi! I'm new as well. I must say, I love grapefruit, but I don't think I could eat it all the time as well. I'm hoping the more we navigate these forums, we can find the right support group. Cheers!
