Talking I need new tunes!!

Ok ladies, I need some serious suggestions. I need MUSIC!! All sorts--not just workout!

I'm a big fan of alternative/rock, but also listen to some pop. Pretty much anything, but nothing too rappish and not too much country.

Also, I've pretty much downloaded everything Top 40, so that's out. LoL

So come on! Give me suggestions and underground bands and whatnot!

1..2..3..GO!!!

Kamelot and Wintersun I find them really good for running and for whenever you need a bit of a boost! Because they are just freaking awesome

Right now the one song that keeps me going through my toughest workouts is Sex on Fire by Kings of Leon. I have no idea why, but it really pumps me up. Other than that I listen to a lot of pop music, the kind of stuff that is embarrassing to have on my ipod at all Um, also some Franz Ferdinand (esp. Take Me Out and No You Girls), MGMT, and David Guetta. And of course, my secret Britney Spears....

Here are some good songs you can sample on Youtube. I'd post links, but I don't know if I'm allowed. ;P

Bright Eyes - Bowl of Oranges
The New Pornographers - Sing Me Spanish Techno
Seabear - I Sing I Swim
Metric - Sick Muse
Belle & Sebastian - The State I am In
Mother Mother - Ghosting

EDIT: And pretty much anything by Tegan & Sara. ;P

Ok, here's some of my favourites (in general, not really for working out):

Cousteau
Davey Ray Moor
Badly Drawn Boy
Feist
Goldfrapp
Gossip
Imogen Heap
The mars volta
The divine comedy

I like to workout to all sorts of music...salsa, swing, pop/rock...katy perry always puts me in a good mood when I'm dying on the treadmill.

Silversun Pickups
If you're into any metal check out In This Moment (Love them!)

My all time fav band is 311 so anything by them And Incubus as well.

I'll look at my music folder when I get home and make some suggestions. I mostly listen to techno though and have single tracks/mixes.

I've also recently re-discovered Shiny Toy Guns. I really liked them in 2005ish and forgot about them until the other week.
