I've been battling depression for quite some time now. But I have been refusing to take any meds for it because I have in the past (Paxil and Lexipro) and had bad side effects from the meds. A recommendation from a natural pharmacist led me to a really great product called "Holy Basil". I buy the one from a company called New Chapter (and I purchase it on Vitacost to save money!) Wow, this product works great. Because of taking this product, I have actually started back on my healthy eating program and exercise regimine. This is my first week back to feeling normal, which is great because now I can start shedding this stupid weight!

That is good to hear. I have not heard of Holy Basil. I have tried St. John's Wort, but I hear that it is not good to take it if you are on cholesterol medicine (St. John's Wort). I am on cholesterol med, so I stopped taking it. Have you heard of any drug interactions with taking Holy Basil? My guess is if you are not on other medicines, it may not be as much of a concern for you. But, I figured I would ask. At any rate, glad the Holy Basil is working well for you.

HOw long have you been using it? I just quit taking my meds....
