Default Light bleeding within one week of ovulation

Hi there, my name is Sarah and I have been trying for a baby for two months now. Over the past year I have managed to lose 2.5 stone and now weigh 17.5 stone, still improving my health.
My question today is, I have had some light bleeding, only when I wipe after going to the ladies room, this is around one week after my ovulation date and my husband and I have been actively trying to get pregnant. I visited my doctor today and he said it may be hormonal, but I didn't mention to him that we'd been trying.
Have any other ladies on here experienced the same or do you have any other suggestions?

It could be hormones or it could be implantation bleeding. There's really no way to know until you are able to test.

I haven't had implantation bleeding myself, but it is common and some of my friends have.

Good luck!

wait a couple weeks to test. It could be anything, like Zenor77 said.
I've had delayed af with spotting that ended with an af. I've also had implantation bleeding with #3. Try not to stress over it and test in two weeks.

I'm just curious, did your doctor say more specifically what the "hormonal" problem could be? Or did he just say "It could be hormonal" ?

Meaning, could a hormonal change be brought about with change in the diet and weight loss causing one to have sporadic bleeding?

And btw, sorry, but I cannot help you with your problem I don't know. I will cross my fingers for the best.

He only said it may be hormonal, but he has refered me for a smear in 4 weeks time. Whilst I was there though I did forget to mention that we were actively trying.
