Default one of those days...

Some days are just harder than others, and today is one of them. I want to just keep eating, and I know I'm not hungry, I don't know what it is! Stress possibly, but i wish I could channel it some other way! We're also snowed in here in MI and that could be a contributing factor, but geez, why does my brain do this to me!?!!?

I don't know why the brain does it but mine does it too. Lol. There was like a period of two weeks where I just didn't feel like eating-it was so weird. And now I have the thoughts of..."what's in my cupboard? ohhh that looks good..." I've fought them off though and stuck to my diet. I think it's just boredome really. I've found if I just nosh on some carrots or celery I'm happy. It's just the act of chewing something sometimes I think. Tricks the brain.

I try to do things to unwind when I feel this way

Right now it's some tea and honey while watching Biggest Loser- but I do crochet at night also- it totally helps with boredom I can't eat while using both hands too!

Yeah I feel just like that at times... especially when me, my hubby and my brother are about to watch a movie and their all noshin away on popcorn, so I bought 100 calorie pops! Its 100 calorie pack of popcorn (so its a smaller bag) but its really the perfect size. If its a chocolate craving I have these fat free chocolate ice cream pops that are only 70 calories and 10 carbs, so I will have one of those and if its no particular craving, I usually pull out my carrots

I just had this all last week. I usually try to grab a book and take a nice bath then go to bed. A good book will take my mind off of just about anything.

I'm the same way today - I know its because of the snow. I'm just trying to do things to occupy myself (like painting).

I think being snowed in today actually helped me eat right. I had a craving for a big ol hunk of chocolate but I didn't have anything sweet and sugary in the house. It was irritating but the craving passed and I felt good about it.

If I coulda gotten a delivery guy to bring me a large bag of fun-size Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, though, this story might have a very different ending!

I'm in Michigan too and I can tell you it's probably being snowed in. I hate it sometimes. Honestly I can't wait for summer. For me, winter time is the worst time to lose weight.

when this happens to me it's usually because i haven't eaten enough in the days previous, i'm upset, or bored. And in those cases, i just get out of the house. I just leave, go to goodwill or to the mall and walk around. It helps, trying on cute clothes REALLY helps (=
