Default Okay, here I go.....

Well I was doing good a short time ago until my dd got real ill with a virus and went into the hospital for 3 days. That throws your whole eating/exercise plan off.

So, today Monday and I am back on track. Eating good, couting WW points and heading to the gym tonight. Could use a little motivation to keep it going.

Any wonderful words or encouragement? So hard with Valentines tempations all over the place.

Thanks.

Yes, a change in routine like a loved one in the hospital is tough - throws off eating and exercise and all those good habits we try to establish. But no need to let it get in the progress you've already made - you're close the ten pound loss mark...so keep up the great work. Count your points, write it down, and get thee to the gym! You can do it!

Valentine's Day is about expressing love and affection and gratitude to those in our lives that we care about, not (I repeat, not) about boxes of chocolates or sugar hearts with cute phrases on them.

Wow. A daughter in the hospital has stress-eating written all over it! I'm so sorry. I sure hope she is fully recovered now!

As for getting through things like Valentine's, I just have to make things like that off-limits. There's simply no way around it for me. And I make sure I'm full of healthy foods a majority of the time to stave off cravings. I really like eating 6 mini meals because I know that no matter how hungry I am, my next meal is never more than two hours away.
