Default Favorite Sandwich Condiments?

I used to LOVE mayo on my sandwich. So far I'm 1 month mayo free, and have been using yellow mustard instead. The mustard is okay, but I'm getting kind of burnt out on it.

I'm looking for something new to give my sandwiches a little pizzaz! Any suggestions? What are your favoirte sandwich condiments?

i love yellow mustard on roast beef or Guldens mustard on turkey. But I've always been a mustard girl, mayo grosses me out. I've also used salad dressings (balsamic, greek or fat free ranch) on some sandwiches and wraps.

I switched to Smart Balance Mayo awhile ago due to choloesterol worries. I like it alot. I sometimes use a little light or fat free salad dressing, usually only on the side of the bread where my baby spinach is going.

i used light best foods mayo (fat free is mega gross). i actually really like spicy brown mustard, or horseradish mustard. i usually hate horseradish, but when it's mixed with mustard it's delicious.

I use a wedge of laughing cow cheese in place of mayo. It serves the purpose of replacing the mayo and the cheese.

Thanks everyone. These are great suggestions! I'm going to go shopping tonight and pick up some laughing cow cheese and flavored mustard.

I wish I could warm up to low-fat mayo, but all it does it make me want the real thing...

I second the laughing cow cheese, I even use it as a sub for sour cream on a tortilla when I make a wrap. yummy!

I also find 1/4th of an avocado with a little salt and pepper is a PERFECT cheese/condiment sub.

ok..you might think this is strange but whenever I eat turkey, chicken or ham sandwiches, I spread on a thin layer of jellied cranberry sauce on the bread..it gives my sandwich a nice tangy zip. Another condiment I use regularly is SF raspberry jam. If you've ever eaten a deep fried monte cristo sandwich in a restaurant, they always serve them with raspberry jam so i decided to try it at home on a cold sandwich and its delicious! Try it, you wont be disappointed!

I had a fat free cranberry vinaigrette salad dressing that went great on a turkey sand.

Also...fat free Russian or Thousand Island dressing on turkey or roast beef ....or a little horseradish, plain or mixed with some yogurt.

Salsa sounds great, I used to use a hot cherry pepper spread on my heroes, but you have to be a hot pepper type of chick for that, LOL!

There are actually a few jarred pepper dressings in the pickle aisle that vary in heat, if you like peppers you can experiment with those.

I tried Hellmans Dijonnaise spread. I think it's a combo of Dijon mustard and mayonaise. 1 Tablespoon is only 5 calories and 0 fat. That's like 0 points.
