I looked at the web site. Sorry to be harsh, but the claims are way, way overblown. 1) the weight is too light. 2) 6 minutes a day of arm exercises with that weight will burn maybe an extra 20 calories, which is trivial for fat loss. 3) one can't spot reduce tricep fat, any more than one can spot reduce love handles, thunder thighs, spare tires, muffin tops, or any other body part. 4) I'd like to see a peer-reviewed, non-industry supported study, or even the company's own raw data, that shows the shake weight is "300 times more effective" than regular weights.
Losing the fat covering the triceps requires building up muscle (not "toning") and losing body fat. The tightness you feel may be temporary engorgement of the muscles with blood and lactic acid. This "pump" is common with low-weight, high-rep exercises, but doesn't translate to building muscle.
Again, sorry to be harsh, but the "shake weight" web site just grated on me. Must be time to go home...
