You jinxed us!! You asked for nice weather and now look what we've got! Pouring rain...40 mph winds...tornado warnings?? What did you do, bring it with you??
I hope you love our beautiful (if soggy) city, anyway.
Well...fortunately I am not there yet. I talked to my son today and he said it is supposed to be in the 60's by Sat. *fingers crossed* for me and for all of you in SD.
I am adding a raincoat to my "things to pack" list. But hope I don't need it!
[quote=sidhe;3105233]Awww, so I don't get to blame you? Shucks.
You can blame me if it doesn't let up between the 25th and Feb. 14th. I am used to taking nasty weather with me as I travel...but I sure hope that is not the case this time. You wouldn't want the mid-west weather from here....it's cold!!
I am sure I will love SD...and I would like a sunny day for visiting the zoo. I also hear that it is prime time for whale watching. Sounds interesting.
Tornadoes in southern california? Jeez...mudslides, wildfires, earthquakes, the 210 and the 405...I'm glad I live in Northern New York. AT least snow doesn't rearrange your neighborhood!
Sorry to hi-jack the thread, but I was wondering how everyone is faring in the weather?
I think I've picked up about a thousand palm branches (fronds?) in the last couple days and a big section of the fence behind our house fell down. Blah.
Hope everyone else is doing well. We may have to ban together and build an ark soon.
So far we're doing fine. BUT right now we rent a condo and the condo association is taking care of everything...they were doing some yard releveling work on the house we're buying, and we're really nervous about what happened there!
Angie and I were in Carlsbad at 5am for my daughter's marathon...cold...sweatshirts and a blanket for her but my 8am the sweatshirts were off....by 10 the sweatshirts were gone...
