3rd Times a Charm - I hope
Hoping to make some new friends and maybe hook up with some old friends.
This is my third attempt to lose the weight all the way. As you probably see from my ticker I have kept some of the weight off but I keep yo-yoing. They say the third time is the charm and I hope they are right.
I was doing great this past year but hit a stumbling block when I gained three children and the weight to go with it. No, I didn't actually give birth but I gained the weight like I did. I have custody of three beautiful little boys, 6 months, 2 years and 4 years old, my grandsons. Because they didn't have healthy eating habits and were already underweight, I bought foods I knew they were used to. We are very slowly changing these eating habits but they still crave the old way of eating. These are not healthy foods to say the least and they are foods that got me to where I was before.
So, I decided since I work full time, my DH's job takes him away from home that I would do frozen meals with add ins. So far so good and they boys are enjoying their meals as well. The weight is coming off but I would love to connect with people counting calories again since that is what I am doing.
Yes, I know frozen meals are not the perfect way to go but that is what I decided will work best for me. If I make a meal, I make sure every last drop is gone because I am an emotional eater. Having three small children again, two having emotional/behavioral issues and the other being an infant, life is very stressful and for the most part I am a single parent.
So, that is my story and I am back to lose the 50 I gained since they came to live with me and go further to goal.
