Default Day 2 on Atkins

Day 2 is going great. No bad feelings. We went to the tool place in NC after church to get Hubby's Christmas present. He had a rain check because they were out of the item the last time we were there. He loves to eat at Arby's when we go there and I was so pleased with myself because I had no temptations to eat off. I got the plain roast beef sandwich and just ate the meat and trashed the bun and drank water. I'll get my veggies in later. I felt great about the way things went which is exciting to me.

Y'all have a great day.

Great job, Trish!

I rarely go out to eat nowadays but when I was on Atkins years ago, I also used to get hamburgers or hotdogs without ketchup and just eat the meat and toss the bun. I never found myself anywhere that I couldn't find SOMEthing I could eat on the plan. If I was really desperate, there was always small bags of pork rinds or nuts out of snack machines. We used to go to the beach a lot and I wouldn't even pack anything to eat as there was always stuff on the boardwalk that fit in the plan.

It's really great that you are still feeling good on day 2....you should start feeling REALLY great soon.

Great job Trish -- the early days are the toughest, because you're still figuring out the foods that will become your staples and still dealing with new things -- so you did FABULOUS on eating on plan on the run!

Hang in there, it does get easier!

Yoo-hoo Trish! Where are you?

Please let me know how you're doing. I get emotionally-invested in the Atkins gals...I can't help it. And want to make sure they are hanging in there.
