Default Wine on Program!

Ok, well not really wine on program. But I just had to share with everyone...feel free to laugh at me, but I found myself pouring my grape HNS into a wine glass....it really helped my state of mind!!! I felt like I was treating myself to a glass of wine and relaxing by the fire, I was able to relax and let the day go.....

Ok, call me crazy, it is ok!

Oh I know. And it's not like I drank that much wine....or even regularly....but now it sounds so good. I'll just visualize my grape juice with you

HNS is the abbreviation for High Nutrient Supplement. The drinks and soups and puddings we use. No wine for you! Heee hee..

Cheers!

Ronnie (I miss my wine too) Hope to have it again soon though..

I like the idea of using wine glasses to drink your HNS's. In our cooking class, she really talks about using beautiful plates and china when eating...to make the meal pretty....and use veggies of different colors or add pimentos to brighten up the meal. Makes a lot of sense. Now I need to go dust off my wine glasses, because it has been awhile since I used them. I guess we can look at the bright side..."we don't have to use a wine screw"!!!

Isn't it great! As I sit here drinking my "wine" right now. I have a fire in the fireplace, sitting on the recliner with a blanket and a glass of wine (HNS).....isn't life great! Love it!

I got so excited when I saw this thread! Ah well. I do plan on indulging in some good cabernet on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. My center told me to cut out all starch on the days I'm going to have some wine. It's worth a shot!

Oh! I miss wine and champagne. Drinking in a wine glass is a good idea. I like eating my meals on a salad plate because it makes me feel like I have more food.

I know this is an old thread, but since I joined today, I wanted to add that I saw this thread before a Christmas party and took two grape HNS with me. I poured it into a wine glass when no one was looking and then added some Sprite Zero. A couple people asked what I was drinking and I just told them I made up some concoction at the bar. Having the glass in my hand really helped get through the party with so many people drinking.
