Default multivitamin ?

Need advice. I have been taking my One A Day multivitamin, it makes me nauseous...like really nauseous. I always take my vitamins in the morning with my food and hot tea. I'm fine with all my other ones but this one. I had to troubleshoot to figure out the problem. Finally I realized that it was my hot tea. As soon as I take it using the hot tea, I get very nauseous.
One day I took the vitamin with water and I was fine, then 10 minutes later I thought it was safe to drink my hot tea again and I got nauseous.
My husband thinks that it may not be coated, so he suggested buying one that is but which multivitamins are coated? And what brand is good?

My DBF remarked that the One A Day vitamins upset his stomach. I have since switched to Nature's Bounty Your Life. They make a multi for men & for women. The women's formula is iron-free, which is what Dr. Atkins recommends. They also contain fish oil, probiotics & ester c as well as 12 vegetable & fruit extracts.

Wow Jersey Girl you really do have all the answers! I take a multi vitamin and fish oil and i have probiotics on my grocery list. It would be great to consolidate, I will look for that brand.

My sister had One-A-Day for women and it bothered her stomach so she gave the bottle to me. My brother-in-law had One-A-Day for men and it bothered his stomach so he gave it to my husband. My husband started taking them and complained that they bothered his stomach. Seems to be a recurring thing. I can't say for sure whether the vitamins irritated me. I just stopped taking them b/c I like my brand better. I use Genuine Health Supplments. They're a bit more expensive but they're better quality.

I recently switched brands & have been feeling sick to my stomach no matter how I take my multi - before food, with food, morning or night.

guess which brand? Yup, One a day.

I'm changing too, now that I've read this post. I really thought it was just me being over sensitive.
