Default Weekly wiegh in thread number 9!

Does anybody fancy getting the weekly weigh ins going again. Remember we used to log our gains and losses and Sarah tallied them all for us on a Monday. How about we start doing it again.

I don't mind doing the tallying if you don't mind waiting until next Monday

It used to inspire me and I used to love looking at how well other people were doing

If you fancy we could all log our losses (or gains) this week on what ever day we weigh in and I'll look up Sarahs last running total and tally it all up from there next Monday

Feel free to tell me to take a running jump

Just had to say I will almost definately show a gain next week - as I like wine too much when I am on holiday.

Just had to point that out that - won't just be losers on this thread - we all slip and believe me I have most definately

I completely agree Carol it was always a big incentive to me to log my weekly weigh ins and see how well everyone else was doing too. I was really disappointed when I came on last week to log last weeks weigh in because the week before I hadn't managed to get online with working so long. no one else seemed to have been here for ages

Well this past week for me has been a pretty good one, I stuck well with the eating plan and managed to get my normal sessions in at the gym and the scales on friday showed another loss of 1lb so I was pretty happy with it. of course I would have been happy to see more loss, but any loss is a good one

I may not be logging any weight loss for the next couple of weeks though...next friday I am working all day and it looks really busy so I probably wont get the chance to go and be weighed and the following friday I am going up to Glasgow for the weekend...I will of course be weighing myself, but as it wont be at my regular time I wont be recording the weight as accurate

Hope everyone else wants to start this thread going again
Have a great weekend everyone

Ali

Way to go Veg Keep up the good work. I too lost four last week, and I will admit to not being very good either, but I blew it all going out to dinner with hubby on Saturday, so it's back to square one.
Hope everyone has a good week.
Chris.

Hello Everyone.

I just joined slimming world tonight, starting weight 19 st 9 lbs (thank god they don't read it out in class ). So, no gains or losses to report until next week, but I wanted to delurk. I've been reading this board since the beginning of June.

Horrible weather here in Scotland. I walked 25 mins through a thunderstorm to get to my class - felt very determined.

Welcome minigem
it's nice to see a new name on here

Congratulations on taking that first step and walking through a thunderstorm for 25 minutes to get to class...that would have been so easy to use as an excuse to put it off for another week and not go so well done to you

Thanks for the welcome everybody.

I had good fun making my avatar - taking loads of photos of iced gems and then eating them all (before my diet started though ).

Thanks for making this thread come alive again, it'll be a nice incentive to see if I can post losses more often than gains. Good luck to you all too.

Hi

I too am starting back to SW next week (half price joiing) although I admit that find their diet very boring as you have to be very strict about convenience foods. I love, for instance, breaded fish (not fried) it is mega, so I think I will be following the WW diet but keeping it hush hush. Its the weigh in that is important to me;-)

Keep up the good work!

Jano

Do most people go to slimming clubs for the weigh in? I have never been to one I guess the weigh in keeps you on track? I looked at the online sins on slimmimg worlds web site once and my fave veggie burger from tesco was about 15! But its only about 250/300 cals
