I am new here and basically I have a new years goal. I know it is still quite far away but I thought it would be good to get a head start.
LOSE 20lbs by New Year.
I don't know if there is already a new years challenge going on but if there is then please refer me. I couldn't find one.
Lets share our journey through New Years and if you care to join lets motivate each other. If there is anything else that could be added to this goal please let me know so I can also do it.
I think I am also going to try to drink 8 glasses of water every day. I need to do that.

Well I am currently at 178 and planning to lose 20lbs by new years.
I'm in on this one! I'm going to say 10lbs by new year, which works out as a lb per week. I know with Christmas inbetween now and then, any more than that isn't likely! But that would take me down to 123lbs, the lowest weight I think I have ever been
I would absolutely LOVE to be out of the 180's by New Year's!!! Right now I am around 188, so it would be approximately 8-9 pounds. Hopefully if I can keep up with gym workouts and streamline my eating a bit more, things will work out on my end.
Ooh I'm in too! My weight yo-yo's so much during the holidays. I would like to be back to 140 by New Years.. which is rougly 12 pounds but I would be ok at 142 as well!
I've been concentrating alot on my eating and I'm going to start getting more focused on adding exercises throughout the day. I work in an office and there's really no place to walk (plus it's freezing) any ideas?
I'm in - I want to be in the 160s by New Years, whether that's 160, 165 or 169.9 I'm a little nervous, because I know I'll be doing a lot of traveling over the next few months, so I'm going to have to work extra hard to stay on track.
I'm definitely in. I'd like to be able to lose 20 lbs by new years, which would put me at my lowest weight since probably 8th grade...maybe even before!!! That would be AWESOME!
I actually already had a goal written down - I'd like to be down to 189 by New Year's. That's about 20lbs, which is a lot, but I think that having a firm goal is going to make the holidays a lot easier (plus, I already missed Thanksgiving, so one less dinner to worry about!).

Im in! I have been stuck at the same weight since August and maybe I need a challenge to push myself. Im not going to set a goal as I dont really know what is possible considering this slump im in at the moment but I will try my best. Me and my bfs anniversary is on New years So i would LOVE to atleast lose 10lbs by then but we will see.
Hey, I really need the kick to keep me on track over christmas so I am joining if that is ok. I am in Ireland over christmas and New Year so will weight in on my weight in day of the week I get back so the 6th of Jan. I am starting today, with todays weight of 160.5lbs and aiming for a loss of 15lbs.
