I weigh in on Wednesdays and I did not lose anything this week. It is definitely discouraging, but then I try to remember that probably one of the biggest things that has caused some people to succeed where others failed is that those who succeeded stuck with their eating plan even when the scale was not moving in the right direction.
I would imagine that almost everyone who has ever struggled with dieting has had those moments of discouragement. No doubt, those who eventually succeeded kept going at times when others gave in to the disappointment.
You have done great and probably the weight gain was either muscle or water retention. Hey I no longer have to deal with TTOTM and my weight still fluctuates erratically, especially if I have higher sodium foods--which I sometimes do.
I just got done with a full body workout and it lifted my spirits a bit!
I agree, ive lost about 88lbs and during that process i had many plateau's or weeks i didn't lose. I just got to keep on going....Thanks for the reminder
Yes I have had weeks of maintaining or small gains!
And it makes me a bit out o sorts too, but really being healthier etc is more what it is all about, right?
And the trend over time is down so it is good, right?

Thanks for the congrats and the reply...congrats on your weightloss too. AWESOME Can't wait until i hit my 100lb loss!!
I feel the same way. This week I went up 2 pounds even after sticking with the calorie counting and exercise. I try not to get discouraged because I know weight naturally fluxuates. And I also remind myself that I am capable of losing weight because I have done it before.
Me too! I actually went up 4lbs this week's weigh in, even after a week of great nutrition and daily exercise. And let me tell you, I recently started a C25K program and I've actually gained weight, maybe it has something to do with this new running thing.
I'm right there with you, just hang on and I'm hanging on too. We can get through this... maybe not by next week or the week after that, maybe we've hit a real full-blown plateau... but keep on keeping on! This is what seperates the losers from the LOSERS!

I can feel your postive vibes...thanks!
I started doing more run intervals about two weeks ago( 3 a week) so maybe there is something to weight gain and new running...maybe we will drop alot of weight at once.
Shaunabear- EXACTLY...we have lost weight before so we KNOW were cabable of doing it...i remind myself of that all the time.
