So.. money has been tight around here lately, and I had to make some decisions and financial wizardry to come up with ways to get through the month. The workout equipment had to go... I wasn't really using it anyways. So I sold my treadmill, my stationary bike, and my bowflex (kept the stability balls and hand weights)... and my Wii and wii fit. And ya know what? I feel great.. I've walked 19 miles of trails this week in the state park.. played tennis for an hour at a time two different days.. been bowling with the hubby on his two hour lunch on Wed. I feel motivated for the first time in two years... Wow.. I hadn't realized until i sold it that I was feeling so much guilt over having and not using the stuff that it was depressing me... I have gained 60 lbs since i had the equipment in the house... now.. I feel free to go to the park daily and get things done.. it's amazing. no more "I'll get on the treadmill when the kids are asleep" or any of those type of things that i never followed through on. Sorry for the ramble.. but i just had to share with someone..

Good job, keep moving!! I was on a treadill for an entire year(actually using it) and when we started remodeling we had to put it in storage. I was walking for 1 hour at 3.5 mph every single mundane day(snore, snore). However, when I got outside I decided; hmmm...maybe I'll run to the next power pole. Then a week later; hmmm....maybe to the next power pole,etc. I done my first ever 5k at the end of August and have never felt so proud of myself. There is nothing more inspiring than being outside to me!!! So, keep it up!!!!!! There's a thought, maybe when I hit goal I will sale mine and for once use the money for me and not everyone else!!
