Default Net carbs.. real carbs... fiber.. holy geez!

I have been off plan for several months. I am about to get my fat butt back on track, but I forget about the carbs, sugar, net carbs, fiber. I can't remember how to look at a label and know the real carb content, according to Atkins plan.

I would appreciate a refresher!

My understanding is this:
Example....

Carbohydrates=25 gms
Fiber=5 gms

Net Carbs=20 gms

You subtrack the fiber from the carbs to get NET carbs.

Net carbs are calculated by deducting dietary fiber from the total carb count. In other words, if the total carb content is 4 carbs & the dietary fiber is 2 grams....the total net carbs would be 2. Hope this helps
