Default 5 days since I started

Wow, almost a week and 5 lbs down. I had to push myself the past couple of days to get my workout done. I sit here after my walk drained LOL..it will get easier, I know. It just feels good to be eating better and getting my heart rate up.

Thanks, I appreciate it. The walks were not as hard as I thought, however, I had to push myself through them a couple of times this week! Being 5 lbs lighter on the scale was so worth it though!

Oh the "push it through" syndrome. Yeah, we all experience it at one time or another. Sometimes even more then that .

You're off to a great start! Keep on plugging away and pushing through and EVERYthing will be easier. And more enjoyable. And oh so very rewarding!!

Thanks, now if I can get past 2 weeks, it will be a record. The longest I have dieted was for 2 weeks and then I gave up.

This was basically my story as well. I was never one who lost a lot of weight - and then regained it. I never lost a substantial amount - I just kept on gaining. All of my many, many numerous attempts were half-hearted - until this last time.

So of COURSE you can get past 2 weeks. Why wouldn't you? You've made the commitment to "do this" and therefore you shall do it!!! Giving up is no longer an option.

Giving up is not an option. The result would be fatal in my opinion. I would eat myself into an early grave. I will not allow that to happen. My husband and children need me and I certainly need them.

Great start! Just keep going, you'll start to feel better and better as you watch the pounds come off.

And don't let the ugly overcast WA weather get you down! I'm in WA too and I know that some days when it's so ugly out I just don't feel like doing anything.
