Sounds crazy but my first goal will be to cross my legs. I'm sick of all the belly, pubic and thigh fat in between.
I'm not goaling by the scale anymore but by how comfortable I feel.
1. crossing legs
2. bending over easier
3. less breast tissue
4. less pubic fat (sorry TMI I know but I'm sure I"m not alone in this-at least I hope I'm not)
The above four body problems are my scale and goals.
Since I've lost close to 40lbs, I have found it much easier to cross my legs! At my highest, I could only cross my right-over-left but not comfortable. Now I can do both ways, more comfortable but just not "right" yet.... a little more work to do and I'll be there! Hopefully, by that time, my chaffing will be nonexistent
how sad is this, i gain a lot of weight in my stomach, and under my "gut roll" theres like a permanent stripe of chafed skin. ugh, maybe when the gut goes away itll heal up but its been there for YEARS.
its the little things that suck about being fat that thin people dont understand, lol.
I totally forgot about the chafing (how could I?)!! I'll be thrilled to death when I can wear a dress or skirt without tights/hose/panty girdle shorts!!
Also, I will celebrate the day I don't feel my stomach sit on my legs when sitting down!
Me too. That's so gross isn't it? I was just looking at this the other day and wondering how I let myself get this big. I can't even see things.

There is nothing crazy about having being able to cross your legs as a goal. I have had a significant weight loss and still can't comfortably cross my legs. I will celebrate the day that I can!
I'm so picking this one up as a goal too. I can sort of cross my legs but not comfortably for very long. I'm most comfortable crossing my legs the 'man' way, you know ankle on the leg sort of thing.
I remember when I was in high school and I lost a lot of weight and the first time I could cross my legs under my desk, I just about started crying right there in class!
I am trying to consciously keep myself from crossing my legs, as it is actually bad for them. Crossing at the ankles is better for you...simply keeping your legs shut without crossing is likely even better. Crossing your legs can increase your chances of getting varicose veins, for instance...and even though I'm young, I want to prevent them.
It's still a good goal to have, though. It'd be a positive sign of change.
LOL@ "pubic fat". Continuing along the lines of TMI, I have to be one of the only people in the world who "grooms" because it's "slimming" down there. I try not to let it become complex
Hahaha how ironic that we, or I experienced this, the crossing my legs, and how comfortable it has become that I do it very often when sitting down at work. I actually do marvel at myself because I can do this comfortably now. The other goal I have to comment on is bending over, I wear scrubs -- ER nurse -- and I am able to bend, squat whenever needed and feel comfortable doing it. I SO AGREE WITH YOU FOR HAVING THESE AS YOUR GOALS.
