So I felt a little nervous about today because I have plans to go out with friends tonight for beer and bar food. Danger danger! I figured out what I'm going to eat, and put in my daily plate. I've been under my calories all week, so although I saw I'd be over by about 100 calories for the day, I was okay with it.
But still--I knew that I should do something else related to physical activity beforehand. Yesterday, I went for a long walk, and I decided that today I'd put in extra workout minutes as well, more than yesterday. I normally do 30-40 minutes a day, so I wanted to do more than that.
Usually when I set a workout goal like that for myself, I make up some excuse not to go through with it (well, I was under my calories all week, so I don't need to workout longer, etc). But today, I did it!
I did a yoga show from TV (good workout, I'm totally going to do it again!) that was about 23 minutes, and then I walked for 50 minutes. It's not even 1:30 yet today, plus, I'll be walking to and from the bar, which is about 10 minutes away. Yes yes yes!
