So I've decided that since I cannot seem to find my long term motivation, short term will have to do for now. So I'm going to set a goal or two everyday and that's all I have to do. I think I'm putting waaayyy too many restrictions on my weight loss and that's why my motivation is failing. So from today on, I'll just think about today for now.
Anyone else want to set daily goals with me? We can check in with each other for support on meeting those daily goals
Today's goal:
Drink 80 oz of water
Workout for 45 mins
I'm going to start small and work my way back up (or down scale wise )
That sounds like a great plan! I'm an instant gratification kinda girl too, so those little accomplishments daily feel really good when having to think of the over all picture all the time.
I guess since I've done one today (walked 45 min) I'll make mine to go the rest of the day without giving in to my need to snack.
My goal today - stay within points and work out for an hour.
We have a stupid office potluck lunch today, so my plan is to just have a forkful of everything and I think I should be okay. People around here are friggin sensitive if you don't eat their food.

Ugh! My office is the same way...they are obsessed with bringing food in and make a scene if someone doesnt eat everything. We have some kind of junk food sitting on the kitchen table here at least 3x a week, are ordering pizza for lunch as a 'staff bonding' activity, or have breakfast of bagels and muffins at staff meetings...sounds like you have a good plan though!

I mean I had fair warning for this - and I made my low-fat, black bean brownies, so it won't be too bad, but some people are just so friggin touchy. Most people around here are okay, but you just have one or two who make up for the rest.
UPDATE:
Dance for an hour (just jam to my iPod) and make sure I break a sweat- Check.
Eat healthy snacks if I MUST - Check
Go for a walk with da hubby - Check AND I jogged some of it too!
