Default Just For Today Challenge, July 27

Have you been struggling to get on program, no matter which program you are trying to do? Why not sign in here just for today, and come back and show us how you did. Sign up with any goals you want to.

I have been struggling, some days eating as much as 60 points. I found last week when I started this challenge, that even though I still overate, I did much better, knowing I was going to be reporting it here.

Join me if you like. I will probably start this challenge daily for a while. If anyone beats me on here in the mornings, and it hasn't been started, feel free to start it. Believe me, I will follow this challenge no matter who starts it.

This has become a wonderful supportive group! (New thread started every day for a frest start!) Newbies to this thread always welcome!

I'm tired of being tired and disgusted. I'm going to try and buckle down this week.

Today's goals:

24 oz water
34 points or less
Exercise
Stop eating by 10:30 unless it's fruit

Hi, everyone!!!!

Count me in! Count me in!
This is a wonderful idea, :-)
I am dragging myself to the gym for a 45 min elliptical and 45 min treadmil for the past few days. But knowing I can announce it somewhere makes it much more fun and motivating.
And I like your mini goals, they are like stepping stones.
I am editing to make sure I put my goals down,

Have a good breakfast - check
log in the 1.5 hours in the gym
Take 60 Oz water

Hi JazzyPeggy,

Try not to be disgusted. I am sure you do not deserve it. Just keep working on it. I know what you mean though. Trying to change eating habits can be very frustrating. Have you considered a more specific goal such as giving up one trigger food for the day? That might provide some success goal wise plus help towards keeping the points down.

Today my goals are:

Stay under 2000 calories for the day
Stay under 900 calories after 5
Not to drink any wine

Hi, Niru, Ash, and Terapet.

I'm working on my water and almost finished with my 2 miles walk away the pounds. This is going to be a good day for me.

You ladies are doing great on your goals.

Thanks Terapet for the suggestion. Will have to give it some thought.

I did well with the calories today. I stayed under 2000 total but I went over 900 for dinner, at least not by much. It wasn't from wine though. I did stay away from that successfully. I feel pretty good about today.

Hope everyone also had some good results
