Wink No loss this week, but I'm ok with it

So this week is week two back on the band wagon. I realize week two is notorious for low weight loss, and to add to that it was my TOM and I started working out again. So I know both of those things factored into my maintaining the weight from the previous week. I'm ok with it though because I measured myself and my waist has gone down 1 1/2 inchs in 2 weeks, which I think is fantastic. I'm a big fan of weighing as well as measuring, sometimes the scale may not be so nice but the tape measure will be, and vice versa.

Good attitude!

I'm on week 8, and have no loss (the scale is showing a 3 pound gain which I know isn't real). I track everthing, so I know that yesterday and the day before I went over my cals by probably 500 a day (I ate out 2 meals, so the counts weren't exact.) And I know I'm retaining water from the foods I ate, the wine I drank and the water I didn't drink.

I should start measuring, since I know my muscles are changing, and it would help on days like this.

you are still rocking it! congrats sweetie. I measure too. And if the scale isn't so nice, I pick something out of the closet that used to be tight. I feel better all over again.

What a difference a day makes... I normally weigh myself on Friday mornings at the Publix by my work. But today when getting groceries I happened to step on and ... down 4 1/2 lbs. So yesterday when I weighed no loss, today 4.5 lbs... wow! I know it was because last week my TOM and working out, so I had hoped to loose around 3-4 lbs.

Wow, that's terrific that you dropped so much so quickly!

I didn't lose anything this week and I'm ok with that. I know it's because I'm about to start my TOM, and we had two occasions to eat out this week, so I'm fine with staying at 205 for one more week. (Just one, mind you )
