Default Dodged a caloric bullet

I hit a drive though tonight for dinner tonight and doged a real caloric bullet. I preplanned what I wanted to have, an italian salad and some chicken but when I got my food from the window I didn't see the salad anywhere. Turns out they mistook my request for an italian salad with balsamic dressing for an italian sub. Normally I would just go with what they got me rather than be a pest but I was hot and sweaty and really wanted the salad so I did give back the sandwhich and had them do it right. When I got home I looked it up and that sandwich had 800 calories in it. :P

I can't imagine just taking whatever they give you. If they screw up your order then they are the ones pestering you and wasting your time.

Good for you! Having worked in fast food, sometimes mix ups happen...It really is not a bother to request them to fix a mistake, as long as you are nice about it!

I did this tonight too! They subbed my lovely, healthy grilled artichoke for the table with an order of artichoke DIP and toasty, oiled up bread slices. I definitely returned for my healthy starter!
