Question How should I count juice?

I make myself some juice nearly everyday with a juicer. So I was wondering how I should go about figuring out the calories of my juice. Should I count the whole fruit I use or should I use the internet calorie calculators.

YES. Juice is loaded, just loaded with calories. I'm not sure as to how to count the calories in home made juice but I'm sure someone will.

Good luck!

I always kind of assumed the calories were nearly the same as the whole food, the fiber is very different. I'm assuming you are using a juice extractor that just leaves you with a very dry pulp. Most of what you are throwing away is the part you body doesn't really digest anyway. If anyone knows for sure, it would be great to find out more.

I'ld count the whole fruit though depending on what kind of pulp you end up with I might try to fit into food later in the day to boost fiber and probably some nutrients

The calories would be near the same as the whole fruit, with the exception (as people have already mentioned) being the fiber.
