Default Wow! Major accomplishment

Wow! I am so proud of myself....today during lunch I was very tempted to go through the drive thru at Taco Bell and order tons of food to eat. As I was driving down the street with my blinker on to turn to Taco Bell, I quickly asked myself "How do I feel? What is making me feel so bad that I want to stuff my face."

I recognized my emotions and told myself that I didn't need all that food to deal with what I was feeling. So I continued to drive straight back to my office and ate my lean cuisine that I brought with me for lunch!

That's a huge accomplishment for me!

Good for you! Temptation is blinking in our faces all the time. Congratulations on catching yourself before you were hypnotized.

LizzieBee, I am so impressed that not only you made a good choice but that you recognized that it wasn't about the food. It was about your feelings! You made the connection--Awesome!

Congratulations! That's a major achievement indeed! And how smug did it make you feel?!? Remember that next time ~ the feeling of achievement feels so much better than the feeling of eating the wrong stuff!

good job lizzie bee!

that is such a big step! i struggle with that too, the same thing and it is such an achievement when you skip the drive thru!!
I completely feel your success!

each time you do that it will bring you closer and closer to new healthy habits and a better lifestyle. It gets easier with time.
and the more you stick to your healthy eating plan, the less you will want to stop at those places because you won't want to ruin your winning streak!

Congrats on your victory over Tacohell!
Especially since you were able to see that it wasn't just the food you were craving ^^

Kudos, Lizzie - you've taken a HUGE step onto the path of being a PAST binger. May you have the same level of insight for each time the demons stalk you!!! :hugs:
