Wow! I am so proud of myself....today during lunch I was very tempted to go through the drive thru at Taco Bell and order tons of food to eat. As I was driving down the street with my blinker on to turn to Taco Bell, I quickly asked myself "How do I feel? What is making me feel so bad that I want to stuff my face."
I recognized my emotions and told myself that I didn't need all that food to deal with what I was feeling. So I continued to drive straight back to my office and ate my lean cuisine that I brought with me for lunch!
LizzieBee, I am so impressed that not only you made a good choice but that you recognized that it wasn't about the food. It was about your feelings! You made the connection--Awesome!
Congratulations! That's a major achievement indeed! And how smug did it make you feel?!? Remember that next time ~ the feeling of achievement feels so much better than the feeling of eating the wrong stuff!
that is such a big step! i struggle with that too, the same thing and it is such an achievement when you skip the drive thru!!

and the more you stick to your healthy eating plan, the less you will want to stop at those places because you won't want to ruin your winning streak!
