best yogurt for ww - Canada resident
Hi,
Does anyone have any suggestions for the best yogurt for ww? I'm in Canada. I find the whole dairy aisle a bit baffling, there are tons of choices!!!

if you like plain yoghurt, can you get FAGE 0% Greek Yoghurt? I figure if we have it here in NL surely you'd have it there!
On our program, we can have 125g for 1 point. I eat it with fresh fruit and all bran lately, or fresh fruit and a few almonds.
If you don't like plain, you could use a wee bit of honey in it to sweeten it up. Or I suppose you can put a sweetner in it as well (I don't know much about sweetners though).

I've also heard good things about Fage, although I've never seen it....
I usually just get fat free plain, and then add fruit or whatever to it. It's 1/2 the points of flavoured yogurt.
I kind of wish we had all the WW products that they have in the States! Cheese, yogurt, ice cream....it would make shopping so much easier!

We don't get Fage here; I contacted them to find out why and it's something to do with tariffs. I hear it's *really* good.
In the meantime, I do what Primaballerina does. I buy Liberte Svelte, plain no fat, and add my own flavourings: fruit, a little stevia, or some chocolate protein powder.

Oh, Liberte....so delicious. About a week before I decided to go on WW I had some of Liberte's regular yogurt..I kind of wish I didn't know how good it is! So rich and delicious....

I buy the regular Liberte for my son, it's the only kind he'll eat now. I have to eye it jealously, sitting there all thick and creamy beside my non-fat version...
And yes, bummer about Fage. A lot of people on this board give it rave reviews.

Hmmm....I'm going to the States next week...perhaps I need to track down some of this FAGE stuff....but then again, it's probably like the regular Liberte-- i'll be happier not knowing what I'm missing out on!!

thedawnster, are you in Canada? I've never seen WW yogurt here, but if it exists, I'd love to know where you found it...

I don't know if you get the WW yogurt in Canada, but if you do or if you ever come down to the states (it makes me smile to hear us refered to as the states!) you definitely need to try it! The best one is cherry cheesecake for anybody that loves cheesecake. 1 point for the closest thing to tasting like actual cheesecake...mmm. Also, key lime pie, boston cream pie, amaretto cheesecake...mmm... AH, I'm making myself hungry and it is almost 11 PM and I definitely have no points left! *but tons of that yogurt in my fridge!*
*Time for bed! No yogurt tonight!*

aangel22- my mouth is watering!! That's so funny about "the states" - I never really thought about it, but I guess that's a very Canadian thing to say!! haha
Well, I'm VERY excited for my trip to "the states" next week, and I will definitely be looking for these delicious yogurt flavours
I really wonder why we don't get them in Canada...It's not like WW is new here....weird!
